bts probably went to the chris brown and usher concert because they trained with their songs during their trainee days and grew up with them, we don't think otherwise and we don't put the members in the same boat as a criminal, nor should you. besides, that guy chris brown still has a career and is still very loved, especially in south korea; the k-pop industry still uses his songs, and bts is no exception.

but the reaction armys gave was normal when pride as a woman came before fandom, thinking "why did my idol share this moment with his predominantly female fandom when that man's stance on women is clear, even if he was an artist from their trainee days?" if you love a close friend, you warn them out of love, but your love doesn't diminish; that's what i felt for bts.

sometimes there are situations where you can't separate the art from the artist, armys experienced this, and bts is definitely more tolerant than us on this matter. but yesterday, there were also people who tried erasing bts at their first mistake, started hate speech, got nasty, and were just waiting for a moment to leave the fandom. i really don't think those people were true armys.

i don't expect an apology from the members either; it would be weird to get an apology for a concert they went to of their own free will. therefore, i will continue to support and love bts because they aren't the ones committing those crimes, but is it our right to ask them to be more careful? yes.

BTS has never reacted immediately when something happens, so I would rather let them reflect on their mistakes, articulate their words, and apologize sincerely instead of posting a generic PR statement like many other celebrities do. Sincerity matters the most to me.
