If you weren't aware PEONIES are VERY important to the mythology of the actual Heart Moon Fox. Genuinely may be a big clue that Jing Hua Yuan is an actual reference, since in the story the Heart Moon Fox (as Wu Zetian) commands all flowers to bloom in the middle of winter, and only the peony refuses. It is punished for that, and banished from heaven to live in the mortal world...maybe a small clue for what will happen to Hsin too by the end of the story?

Suoming being an amalgamation of ten of her dead friends is pretty interesting and seems to be a morose parody on the famous story of the 'Ten Brothers', who each have powers and unite to fight against a single evil. In this case, it seems that Suoming was the only survivor and she was the only one that carried on.

Btw Hsin's signature was also teased quite a bit in her 3.7 song, 'jadehaven' I think refers to the 'yaotai' or jade terrace within her song which is a term for celestials and the heavenly/divine who watch over mortals from above. There is even a lyric in the song where she says:

掌心天地縱可遊
Even if I can roam across the world in the palm of my hand
不及真實溫熱
It cannot match the true feeling of living warmth

She can hold the entirety of Mengzhou's civilisation in her hand as an immortal, but she will still prefer the warmth of the mortal world.
