The $DOG (Rune) price was volatile throughout August, September, and early October.

Bearish sentiment (with negative funding rates) dominated for much of late August and early September.

Recently, the sentiment seems to have turned more bullish, especially in October, as funding rates turned sharply positive, meaning more traders are willing to pay to stay long on $DOG.
