Manti Te’o got a raw deal. I’m embarrassed to be part of the big media machine that made him the punchline. He was speaking from his soul at the end of that doc you could feel the pain. Very glad he got his side out, wish it was sooner. He’s got a fan in me for life. Naya sucks.
I don't think I've ever had less sympathy for a subject than I have for Naya in the Manti Te'o documentary. Don't you dare make you destroying someone's life a celebration of your process. Like fuck that shit.

Manti Te’o Netflix doc is a great example of a person who has every right to be bitter, yet somehow finds solace/purpose in helping others. What society did to this man is not only unfair, but reprehensible. His NFL career was ruined and yet his daily mission is inspiring others!
People calling Manti Te'o stupid for getting catfished at 19 years old back in 2011 but in 2022 they're still believing that someone can flip their $600 into $7500 overnight.
The Manti Te'o untold story literally made me cry. His entire career snatched away from him because he was loving and cared too much. The world owes him an apology.

Things I learned from the Manti Te’o documentary.
1. The media owes him an apology.
2. We as a society owe him an apology.
3. The NFL owes him an apology.
He has EVERY reason to be bitter and pissed off still, yet he forgives everyone, including Ronaiah, for this.
