Ohh this scene is definitely Richard R. Faulkerson Jr. It's not Jao, nor Alden, but it's definitely RJ. I just really love how #LoveSiargao really showcase the advocacies of the cast, especially Alden and Nadine's.

Historian Xiao Chua revealed that a new historical biopic centered on General Emilio Jacinto is currently in production, featuring a star-studded cast that includes Alden Richards and Sid Lucero returning to their iconic roles as Philippine heroes.
The upcoming project titled "Liwanag at Dilim: Heneral Emilio Jacinto" stars singer-actor Gerald Santos in the titular role.
Meanwhile, Richards and Lucero will reprise their widely praised roles from their respective GMA historical dramas, returning as Dr. Jose Rizal from 2014's "Ilustrado" and Andres Bonifacio from "Katipunan,” respectively.
Chua, who is heavily involved in the film's inception and production as a consultant, praised director Dr. Antonino Rommel Ramilo's powerful script for its beautiful depiction of the young hero.
"It tells what little we know about Jacinto beautifully, and interprets and imagines what we do not know artistically. The script captures what he stood for, but also how he loved," Chua shared in a social media post, noting that he will also make a short cameo appearance to experience the hardships of acting and teaching history.
Joining the massive ensemble cast are Aljur Abrenica as General Miguel Malvar, Angel Aquino, Mercedes Cabral, Alex Medina, Alexa Miro, Aicelle Santos, Ima Castro, Isay Alvarez, Robert Seña, Jason Gainza, Pekto Diaz, and Nikko Natividad among others.
The production team, currently shooting across historical locations in Batangas, is earnestly praying to be selected for the next batch of Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) entries to ensure the film reaches a wider audience.
Regarded as the "Brains of the Katipunan" Jacinto's role in the revolutionary movement were vital in authoring the "Kartilya ng Katipunan," a set of 14 rules to be obeyed by Katipuneros. He was also a prominent journalist who wrote of the Katipunan's organ "Kalayaan" under the pen name "Dimasilaw."
With the title highlighting Jacinto's key collection of essays on the revolutionary philosophies of the Katipunan movement, "Liwanag at Dilim" is shaping up to be the first feature film centered on the "Brains of the Katipunan" following 2024 stage production of "Pingkian: Isang Musikal."
