Do I need Z32 testing?

You might see it on a spec or drawing, but Z32 starts with the room use.

If treatment or therapy is happening there, that's a good indicator Z32 applies.

Other clues include room names, evidence of treatment equipment, and drawing notes.

This all helps confirm whether it should be treated as a patient care area, and if Z32 applies.
