I don’t understand, maybe someone can help me @BrendanCarrFCC or anyone at @FCC for that matter. How are carriers like @Mintmobile @TMobile @Verizon and @ATT allowed to continue letting foreign scammer calls through to their subscribers when they’re already identified as “scam” or “spam” numbers. The carriers know they’re scamming people, yet they’re letting the calls through. Someone make this make sense. This is just one part, of one day last week. Are these carriers getting paid from these foreign organized crime organizations to allow the calls to continue? One flip of a switch stops this nonsense, why won’t they do it? This is all a violation of the TCPA.

I feel like this is an easy for the @FCC @BrendanCarrFCC @FTC to fix. Simply charge the cell carriers a fine of $1 per scam call that rings through to the end user and all these calls will immediately end. The carriers know it’s spam, but still let the auto dialers through to scam old people with offers of loans, credit card fraud, impersonation of the IRS, and whatever this week’s new scam is. I’m wondering if they’re getting a cut of the fraud proceeds or something…. What would be the point of letting these numbers ring through after hundreds, thousands or more of your own customers have reported the numbers as spam. Indian scam call centers would be out of business overnight.

All the FTC has to do is issue fines to @Verizon @TMobile @ATT @Consumer_Cell @Mintmobile and anyone I missed every time a user line rings from a number they’ve identified as spam. Why is this so hard?

Just need a rule. I’ll second the motion if someone at the @FTC will make it. This is insanity. We shouldn’t have to pay extra for not being defrauded.
