here’s my little side project, run npx devrage to find your numbers and breakdown.
it just reads your transcripts, code is here https://t.co/anrcQAMZPK
@thdxr I used to think that talking to agents required a special way of communicating. But the more I work with them, the more I realize that communicating effectively with agents is very similar to communicating effectively with people.
We’ve agreed to a partnership with @SpaceX that will substantially increase our compute capacity.
This, along with our other recent compute deals, means that we’ve been able to increase our usage limits for Claude Code and the Claude API.
Effective today, we are:
1) Doubling Claude Code’s 5-hour rate limits for Pro, Max, and Team plans;
2) Removing the peak hours limit reduction on Claude Code for Pro and Max plans; and
3) Substantially raising our API rate limits for Opus models.
I can't shake the feeling that AI isn't actually replacing SaaS. It's more like it's replacing things that are either not very good products or shouldn't have been SaaS in the first place.
Extreme levels of cope in the reply section here from employees at SaaS companies that don't want to lose their job
SaaS stocks went down 80% for a reason
Obviously there will be SaaS that remain and new SaaS but many are just an hour or a day of work to replace with AI
I already built my own screenshot service (for social media images), image resizing for all my sites, NSFW content moderation, community content moderation, uptime monitor with status pages, automated backup service etc
Before I paid for all those SaaS!
@Mycolaos Come on! It’s not like he is replacing Salesforce. Most of his examples could probably have been part of the codebase from day one if he had had more time.
@badlogicgames@BenjaminHouy I might be naive, but I choose to believe that most founders want to build something bigger than themselves. We just see a disproportionately large number of solopreneurs here, since this is their marketing channel. Which I find totally fine, IMO.
I think the argument is that if you are building a business, you are creating jobs that will allow you to employ more people. So the cumulative effect is disproportionately larger added value. Reducing the tax burden should somehow encourage this behavior, since it is a net positive for society.
It obviously makes very little sense in the case of solopreneurs and, from my pov, is more of a tax optimization.
@denisyurchak I mean no disrespect, but I think these types of posts mostly just provoke anger. I really doubt anyone has ever changed their opinion because of such a “debate.”
@lucasmeijer “Present your work as a single HTML slide deck” is amazing advice. It is so simple and so useful that I can’t figure out why I didn’t come up with it myself 🙂
@Shpigford All sorts of sync capabilities. For instance, I still can’t figure out a fast, reliable way to sync md files to and from Confluence, and I need that since all work documentation is there.
