Nigerian billionaires are funny sha. 😂
You bought a piece of land worth maybe ₦50 million.
Spent another ₦200 million building a mansion.
Parked cars worth over ₦500 million inside the compound.
Then you hired a gateman to protect properties worth well over ₦1 billion... and you're paying him ₦70k a month.
The same chef that cooks every meal you eat and literally controls what enters your body and determines the next minute you will stay on this earth is earning ₦100k monthly.
Sometimes I just sit down and wonder.
You trust these people with your life and your entire wealth, yet you pay them salaries that can barely take care of them.
Anyways... pray your enemies never come in contact with them sha 😊.
In 2015, one CEO did something that shocked almost everyone.
He called his employees together and announced that the minimum salary in his company would now be $70,000 per year.
Not for managers.
Not for only the best-performing employees.
Everybody.
His name is Dan Price, the founder of Gravity Payments.
But the part that shocked people the most was what he did to his own salary.
He was earning about $1.1 million a year.
He cut it down to $70,000 so he could increase the salaries of all his employees.
People immediately started attacking him.
Some so-called experts called him a socialist and said he was destroying capitalism. Others predicted that his company would soon go bankrupt.
But then something unexpected happened.
The company grew.
Its workforce doubled.
Sales tripled.
And for the first time, many of his employees could afford things they had only dreamed about before.
Some bought homes.
Some started families.
They were no longer constantly struggling to survive while working full-time.
Then COVID happened.
Business slowed down, and the company was in trouble.
This time, something unexpected happened from the employees.
They voluntarily agreed to take a 60% pay cut from their salary to help the company survive.
They didn't have to be forced.
They did it because they remembered what their CEO had done for them when things were going well.
When business eventually recovered, Dan paid back every cent of the salary they had sacrificed.
And to show him how much they appreciated him, his employees came together and bought him a brand-new Tesla.
The man gave up millions to give his employees for a better life.
And when he needed help, those same employees stood by him.
Now tell me how these his employees will betray him after everything he has done for them even if they're offered millions of dollars to betray him .
If you like don't invest in the life of the people working for you .
God doesn't fail, His Word is Truth, permanent, unchangeable, eternal. He can do it, He owns time. I had see prophet Lovly Elias prophecy to a 61yrs old unmarried man he will be married. Abraham started his life in an old age, it was God's chosen time and encounter with Him.
Good day, GSW
I would like to share about my marriage, family, career, and personal/spiritual life. This write-up focuses on marriage and is intentionally highly summarized.
I would be willing to provide additional details, as needed, to help give a fuller understanding of the situation and to discuss the other themes as your time permits.
I positioned myself, believed strongly in the Word, had faith, trusted God sincerely, stayed focused, and did all the things you usually admonish transformed believers to do.
I genuinely desired it, believed it would happen, prepared for it, and I didn’t have any of the unhealthy mindsets you often talk about. There is an objective substance behind all I am saying, so I am not speaking merely theoretically or emotionally.
I am honestly curious- what really happened? What went wrong? What did I do or not do, especially since you said it's ‘on us.’
I didn’t just sit down and wait. I am open to walking you through the efforts I made. If at any point I received a sure word of prophecy- directly or through someone, I would have acted on it. I genuinely tried to. I prayed, fasted – daily breaks, three-day continuous fasts, and even a 2-week continuous fast. I know you have said it's not necessarily by these things, and I am not mentioning them to boast or glory in the flesh; I am only expressing the extent of the efforts.
When something hasn’t worked, you keep trying. I also sought to hear God through others. I remember the second time I had the opportunity to speak directly with Baba Adeboye, all I said was, " Sir, I would like to know what God is saying about my situation. Can you pray so he can tell you?" I have had direct encounters with him, Bishop Oyedepo, Baba Kalejaiye, and others. These are not medals or sacrosanct events. I am simply explaining the lengths I went to, how much I wanted to hear from God, how much I wanted my situation to change, and how actively I sought help.
So, when you say, “If you are 60 and children did not manifest, surely it’s not God...,” well, fair enough. Then you say, “Surely, it’s you; it’s on you. You did not position yourself. God did His part, but you did not do yours. God gave you a word, but you did not follow it. You did not do this or that.” Really?
Well, I suppose some people conclude that if something has not worked out for you, then it must mean you did something wrong, or failed to do something right.
I am not saying that I am perfect or that I did everything perfectly. However, I did all that I could and all that I knew to do, given the resources within my reach, and even leveraged resources available through others. The way I am participating in these current classes, with rapt attention, open-mindedness, and an eagerness to learn, is how I have generally approached things. I am introspective, open to sound teaching and doctrine, and intentional about applying what I learn.
So, I did not simply rest on my oars. I believed strongly, prepared, positioned myself, stayed driven, worked hard, and looked forward earnestly to these desires coming to pass.
As expected, I received all sorts of counsel over the years. However, I could not align with much of it, particularly when I did not believe it was in clear alignment with the Word of God, or when it simply did not sit right with me spiritually and personally. This often caused tension with close family members, especially because some of these practices appeared harmless or innocuous on the surface.
On one occasion, after several years had passed, a so-called prophet asked my mother in a rather smug, point-scoring manner, “Your daughter, who refused to take ‘that bath,’ is she now married?” The family friends who introduced my mother to this prophet are highly respected and well-known people in society. My mother had pleaded with me to go along with it, saying that, after all, it was a church, they were reading the Bible into the water, and that many people, including the children of the people who referred us, had reported good outcomes after taking that path.
I eventually got married at about 49. And the same people who used to say, “You are always saying you will get married... when? Better go get pregnant, etc. started saying, " Ah, God is faithful, it's good to believe, you had always said you would get married, etc”.
Unfortunately, the marriage did not last. It ended so quickly that it was almost inconceivable. And in that short period, I went through a great deal - physical, mental, emotional, and psychological. I'm still trying to recover.
Imagine waiting all these years, anticipating marriage, only for it to be over before it even began. I didn’t realise at first because I was being supportive, submissive, positive, believing -the way I had lived all my life. All the plans we made, including having a baby, nothing worked; at the same time, nothing was given a chance to work.
I was damaged - I don't think ‘traumatized’ fully captures what I went through in that period, but I didn’t realise it then. I was so positive, so driven, that I couldn’t really see it,
initially. And I could never have imagined, nor did it make logical sense, that someone of that maturity would enter into a marriage without actually wanting to be married, and would not even communicate that to me, but would rather go to great lengths to communicate the opposite to all. Well, that's a whole different story on its own.
During that season, it felt as though everything I had believed in, hoped for, waited for, and believed would happen over many years — basic and normal life events such as marriage and all that comes with it, including children, had simply crashed or fizzled into thin air.
There were plans I had put on hold and choices I could have made but did not, because I did not believe they were right. And all that to end up here?
I remember telling myself, “I built my life on what I believed was the right foundation, yet the past 25–30 years now feel like a total waste.” I wondered what life would look like for me going forward, or what I would be doing in my 70s.
I had so many questions, but I felt that only God could answer them at that point. I do not know if I ever said it out loud, but I remember wishing I could somehow disappear from the earth for just two weeks to have a one-on-one, in-person meeting with God. I wanted to sit before Him sincerely and ask Him a few questions about my life.
What could I have done differently? Married just anyone simply so I could have children?
Should I have given myself a deadline after which I would seek or resort to ‘other’ solutions - even though, at that time, those options were not many and certainly not as commonplace as they are today?
Was I unwise or wrong to have chosen to wait to come by, meet, or be found by an eligible person, one who aligns with the simple Christian standards we are all familiar with, to desire companionship before procreation, which is the order in Genesis as I understand it?
Should I have gone with the unbelievers who asked me out in university back in the 90s (some of whom have mocked me since, or their friends), or settled for other people’s husbands, thereby wrecking another woman’s home? A woman like me? I could not bring myself to do those things.
But those were the options available to me. So, when people ask, ‘How come? What were you waiting for? It often sounds as though they are suggesting that I should have chosen one of those options.
These events were very intense between 2022 and 2024, and the depth of what I experienced may be difficult for anyone to fully comprehend. I even had to undergo surgery in the process, which I may not have needed to do, and then it ended up being for nothing, and I now live with the pain and possible consequences of it, and many more
It has been a struggle. I am still not back to how I used to be -physically, emotionally, mentally, psychologically, financially, spiritually, and in every other sense — but I thank God for where I am today and how far He has brought me.
I am healing little by little. I literally have to pick myself up every day, sometimes every minute, but most importantly, I am keeping on. I am hopeful and still believe in miracles. I remain open, and I am still very eager for answers.
Like So Long a Letter, this is my own small reflection, for now.
Visualize Your Glorious Life In Christ
See What He said And Become It.
And there we saw the giants, the sons of Anak, which come of the giants: and we were in our own sight as grasshoppers, and so we were in their sight (Numbers 13:33).
It matters what you see and how you see. Do you see with your physical eyes, or with the eyes of faith? Those who look and see with their physical eyes are easily overwhelmed by the challenges of life. This was exactly what happened with the ten spies who gave a faithless response when they returned from spying out the land that God promised to the children of Israel. Let’s read part of what they said in Numbers 13:31-32: “But the men…said, We be not able to go up against the people; for they are stronger than we… the land…is a land that eateth up the inhabitants thereof; and all the people that we saw in it are men of a great stature.”
What a picture of fear, unbelief, and defeat painted for the children of Israel by the faithless spies! However, Joshua and Caleb saw differently: that there were giants in the land made no difference. In their inspiring faith-response, they said, “…The land, which we passed through to search it, is an exceeding good land…a land which floweth with milk and honey. Only rebel not ye against the Lord, neither fear ye the people of the land; for they are bread for us: their defence is departed from them, and the Lord is with us: fear them not” (Numbers 14:6-9). Whilst theirs was a leap on the Word, the other ten spies gave a faithless report, being men of the senses.
Never allow what your physical senses perceive – what you see, hear or feel – determine the circumstances of your existence. Don’t judge after the sight of your eyes, neither reprove after the hearing of your ears (Isaiah 11:3). Don’t look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen; for the things which are seen are subject to change (2 Corinthians 4:18). Fix your gaze on God’s eternal and infallible Word only, and maintain the faith-response all the time.
While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal (2 Corinthians 4:18).
You’ve got to see the unseen! You should be able to visualize what you desire; see it inside first. This is important because you can’t possess what you can’t see. Any change you desire that hasn’t first taken place in your spirit, or which you haven’t yet seen on the inside will not manifest outwardly.
Abraham, the great patriarch of faith, had to first see the vision of God’s promise to him of becoming a father of many nations: “And he (God) brought him (Abraham) forth abroad, and said, Look now toward heaven, and tell the stars, if thou be able to number them: and he said unto him, So shall thy seed be…” (Genesis 15:5-6).
As Joshua planned to attack Jericho, the Lord said to him, “…See, I have given into thine hand Jericho, and the king thereof, and the mighty men of valour” (Joshua 6:2). Jacob, when he was being cheated by his uncle, Laban, he used his imaginative power to get plain coloured lambs to reproduce spotted, speckled, ringstraked and grisled (read the inspiring story in Genesis 30:25-43, Genesis 31:1-13). He tells the spiritual side of what happened in Genesis 31:10: “And it came to pass at the time that the cattle conceived, that I lifted up mine eyes, and saw in a dream, and, behold, the rams which leaped upon the cattle were ringstraked, speckled, and grisled.”
These examples show how important it is for you to have the vision of your desire with a positive attitude, for the extent of your vision is the boundary of your blessing! Your imaginative power is your creative ability; you’ve got to “see the unseen”; you’ve got to see the way God sees. Picture yourself living in the reality of what the Word says about you. Contemplate the level of success and victory you want to attain and see yourself functioning at that level.

Visualization is for designing your life and circumstances. God wants us to use our visual power
Construct your life and circumstances with the right thoughts and words. Revelation 6:5.
Intentionally use visualization, keep your attention away from those things that are against your construction. God wants you to keep your visual powers and use your faith in reaching your mind and spirit.
When chances are one in a million, be that 'one'. There will always be someone who can't see your worth. Make sure that person isn't you. The same boiling water that softens the potato hardens the egg. It's about what you are made of, not the circumstances.
Take personal responsibility for yourself. There's a 100% returns of dividends for investing in yourself. Be a first-rate version of yourself, not a second-rate version of someone else. Stop comparing yourself, especially on social media.
Everyone has a story, focus on yours! You must have control of the authorship of your life. The pen that writes your life's story must be held in your hands. Accept no one's definition of your life if it's inconsistent with God's definition of you in His Word.
@GbengaWemimo I am the righteousness of God through christ Jesus, the life that I live, I live by the faith of Jesus who loves me and died for me. Thank you Jesus for revelation knowledge with clarity (understanding). No blind faith!
Sometimes, some Christians, while praying, would say, “Whatever evil my enemies have planned against me, Lord, give them double! Anyone who wants me dead, let that one rather die a sudden death!” No, this isn’t the right way to pray as a Christian; not when you’re full of the Spirit!
A young lady and her family relocated from England to Nigeria six years ago.
Her family is prominent and well connected
She was happily married before the relocation
As soon as she and her husband settled in Nigeria
An elderly lady, who is older than her by fifteen years snatched her husband.
She didnt know how it happened.
Her husband travelled to their state to pursue a contract.
The next thing she saw was divorce papers
He was 32 years old and he left her for a 48 year old single mother with a sixteen years old daughter.
Everybody said her husband was bewitched
She fasted and prayed for restoration, hoping the veil in the eyes of hee husband would fall off and he would come running to her but that didnt happen.
She was encouraged to move on..
She met someone else a few years later
The love was feverish and it felt like a whirlwind
They began talking marriage
She however noticed that he began to come up with excuses like "I cannot settle down now because I am not making enough money"
"I need some investments to stabilize my business, i need some contracts, I cannot marry you and be unable to care for you"
She also noticed that he began to make himself unavailable claiming he was trying to sort his finances out
Eventually, she spoke with one of her uncles and juicy contracts were arranged
She invited him to a dinner date with the uncle and the business talks were fruitful
He changed towards her immediately,
he said his mother had been longing to meet her and her family to arrange a formal meeting.
The meeting with a state governor in Nigeria as arranged by her was supposed to take olace this morning.
Around 1 AM today, she saw some messages on her phone
Screenshots of his conversations with his mother, sisters and friends
Someone she had never met before forwarded them to her
In the messages, he saw that he was with another lady last Friday.
He had told her he was going to spend some time with his mother
In another message, he saw a discussion between him and his mother
His mother told him to "move on from her"
He replied his mother that he would endure being married to her but he would keep loads of girlfriends so long as her family sets him up financially.
She realised it has been a well planned scam all along
He never loved her nor cared about her wellbeing
He and his family members are only taking advantage of her desire to be married to line their pockets.
She saw an exchange between him and his mother where he told his mother that he would ask her for a loan of 10 million Naira and the mother replied 20 million or nothing
She also saw an exchange between her and her sisters where they discussed other potential victims.
Two ladies based in Canada, who are single and well to do
He told his sister to wait until he sealed the deal with her before embarking on the pursuit of another target because she was already acting suspicious.
The revelations were a bit of a surprise to me
I know there are love scammers everywhere but most of them do not involve their parents and siblings.
One must indeed look deeply into families before venturing into a marriage contract with anybody
Nothing is wnat it seems!
Someone dies… and their shares “disappear”? No. They’re just unclaimed.
This happens a LOT in Nigeria.
Family panics. Mum can’t remember anything. Everyone assumes the money is gone.
It’s not.
Here’s the cleanest route forward 👇🏽
First truth:
Shares don’t vanish because someone died.
On the NGX, they sit quietly waiting for a legal owner to claim them.
The market doesn’t chase families. Families must chase the market.
Step one: Confirm the shares exist
Even if nobody remembers where or how they were bought.
Do TWO things:
• Search the SEC e-Dividend / unclaimed dividends portal
• Run a CSCS Global Search (via a licensed stockbroker)
This alone can reveal every stock the person owned.
No certificates? No problem.
Many Nigerian investors dematerialised years ago.
CSCS records are stronger than dusty paper certificates.
Memory fails. Databases don’t.
Next hard truth:
Nobody can touch those shares without legal authority.
Not the mum.
Not the eldest child.
Not “family meeting”.
You need:
• Letter of Administration (no will) OR
• Probate (if there’s a will)
Where does this happen?
Probate Registry of the State High Court where he lived.
Yes, it takes time.
Yes, it’s stressful.
But without it? The shares are frozen forever.
Once probate is ready…
You go to the company registrars (First Registrars, Greenwich, CardinalStone, etc).
You submit:
• Probate / Letter of Admin
• Death certificate
• IDs
• Proof of shares (from CSCS search)
This process is called TRANSMISSION.
What transmission does:
It legally moves the shares
➡️ from the deceased
➡️ to the estate or named beneficiaries.
Under SEC rules, registrars don’t argue once documents are complete.
Final step:
Open CSCS accounts for beneficiaries.
Transfer shares in.
Now they can:
• Hold
• Collect dividends
• Or sell on the NGX
Money unlocked.
Best route forward for the family:
✔ Start with CSCS global search
✔ Begin probate immediately
✔ Use a licensed stockbroker (not “my friend that trades”)
✔ Be patient, but structured
Confusion is expensive. Process saves money.
Final warning:
Unclaimed shares in Nigeria run into hundreds of billions.
Don’t let grief + ignorance turn real wealth into permanent loss.
If this helped, RT it.
Someone’s family needs this info more than they know.
