If you were familiar with me from my previous x account, but unfortunately it has been taken down
Henceforth, this will be my place at x.
Should we've connected back there, I'm super grateful that you choose to connect with me again.
StableFX on @arc is an institutional FX engine for fiat-backed stablecoins: offchain RFQ for price discovery, onchain payment-versus-payment settlement, 24/7.
1/
A taker (treasury desk, fintech, PSP) submits an RFQ for a pair, side, notional, and settlement tenor. StableFX validates the request and broadcasts it to eligible makers over low-latency channels.
2/
Makers return quotes from inventory and risk policy. The execution engine returns the best-priced quote to the taker, with fee and expiry, targeting under 500 ms from RFQ to response.
3/
On acceptance, the trade registers onchain. Pricing stayed offchain for speed. Settlement moves to Arcโs escrow contract so both legs deliver together, or neither does. That cuts one-sided delivery risk.
4/
Maker-triggered settlement with explicit taker funding. The contract sends the buy currency to the taker (minus taker fee) only when both sides meet the escrow rules. Deterministic sub-second finality on Arc closes the trade for both parties in the same window.
5/
Concrete flow: a PSP holds USDC and needs to pay EU merchants in euros. The app requests USDCโEURC quotes from approved makers, picks one, manages collateral per the counterparty agreement, and settles PvP. Ledger updates without overnight FX cutoffs or multi-nostro prefunding for that leg.
6/
Gas on Arc is $USDC. For a USDCโEURC convert, fee accounting stays in the same dollar unit as one side of the trade. Configurable settlement windows and onchain collateral replace idle prefunding across corridors.
7/
Banks and market makers see a new institutional flow source with RFQ familiar to desks. Fintechs embed FX mid-transfer. Enterprises run always-on treasury converts with an onchain audit record. @AerodromeFi is building stablecoin FX on this stack.
8/
StableFX access is KYB/AML-gated for approved institutions.
