Could this be a scene from ACOFM? I swear I’ve been seeing AI versions of scenes from ACOSH on my fyp since the beginning of this summer. And some of them aren’t even scenes I’d consider predictable. #Elriel
Reading ACOSH in English on the ePub, I can’t help but notice how strikingly different some of the phrasing is compared to the Spanish leak. The Spanish version feels much more intimate and personal in its wording. Sjm? Am I actually becoming a linguist because of you?
@JustAFanGirlHa I think it was leaked by the translation team, and since I don’t speak Spanish, I started translating it with AI as soon as I got my hands on it. When the English version leaked later, I noticed some differences between the two.
gwynriels/eluciens and all elain antis for the love of god do not reply to my tweets anymore. i can’t handle your dumb takes or your need to twist canon so far it feels like you’re reading something completely different. i’ve lasted 5 years with this shit i can’t do another day
@purpleescythe There are so many possibilities and unresolved plotlines, but the ship wars overshadow everything and reduce the entire ACOTAR universe to something so much more simplistic than it is.
You can’t keep feeding the fandom’s obsession with romantic ambiguity, benefit from all the engagement it generates, and then act shocked when things get messy. Of course people are emotionally invested after years of speculation and waiting for answers.
Sorry but you should’ve put an end to these ship wars. The same thing will happen again in 3 months. God I was a teenager when I first read these books, and I’ve been waiting for answers to questions that have gone unresolved for YEARS. Of course the leaks were going to happen!
❗️I’m not defending the leaks, but let’s not pretend these ship wars haven’t been fueled for years. They’ve practically become a marketing tool at this point, with ship wars regularly putting the books on Twitter trends.
