هذا من أعظم ما يُروى عن سعة رحمة الله ولطفه بعباده
قَدِمَ على النبي ﷺ سبيٌ، فإذا امرأةٌ منهم قد درّ لبنها، تبحث عن طفلٍ لها. كلما وجدت صبيًا ضمّته إلى صدرها وأرضعته. فلما وجدت طفلها، ألصقته ببطنها بشدةٍ من الشفقة والحنان.
فقال لنا النبي ﷺ: «أترون هذه طارحةً ولدها في النار؟»
قلنا: لا والله، وهي تقدر على ألا تطرحه.
فقال ﷺ: «لَلهُ أرحمُ بعباده من هذه بولدها».
متفق عليه (صحيح البخاري ومسلم)
