@Headteacherchat Yes, if your AHT has worked through the L points as a result of impact/PMR reviews success. Presumably you agreed to you salary on accepting the position of HT?

@joboaler I believe that teachers do not have the capacity to take on more. They are overwhelmed. It’s not the teaching. It’s the pastoral/social/safeguarding/mh/poverty etc etc of their charges that drains, allowing no space for anything else. Just my opinion.
