13.3 I think use of social media in the class would be beneficial as every student tend to learn in a creative way these days and don’t wanna read book of 1000 pages. Hence, use of social media will provide creativity in the learning. #GNED1411

@colleen_cheung I do definitely find it distracting when some people are on their phones during a lecture, but I can also see the pros of having technology in the classroom. Great post! :)

13.3 I definitely believe technology in the classroom can be beneficial. for example, in my classes we use Kahoot a lot. I find that this use of social media is very helpful. I sometimes do find it distracting to have my phone or other students phone in the classroom #GNED1411

13.2 something I find very helpful is having a FAQ discussion board for classes. Not every class has this feature. I think this is very helpful because you can see other questions and answers other students have had. they may be similar questions #GNED1411

@colleen_cheung A social media I sed a lot for group projects was google docs. It was very beneficial for me and my group members because we didn't have to get together to discuss what we were writing

12.3 I think digital activism makes a difference in real life. With the Internet, we gain a lot more information in many ways than we could before. But, I think hashtag activism is becoming pointless since it is did help gain popularity, but now, I think it's overused. #GNED1411

12.3 I definitely believe that activism and advocacy is making a difference in todays society. Almosteveryone has a social media platform or listen to the news. posts get shared on facebook, instagram, twitter etc everyday, all day long. so it is helping bring awareness #GNED1411

12.2 Many protest like the woman's rights or government decisions use social media to show their campaign and and protest. This allows them to show people on every social media platform #GNED1411
