The #RAF2025 fellows met with UN Secretary-General António Guterres for an engaging discussion on key UN priorities. The talk covered a range of topics, and the Secretary-General concluded by expressing his appreciation for the fellows’ commitment to ethical journalism.
This is terrifying — a deepfake of my interview with Imran Khan’s sister, Aleema Khan, is circulating. It falsely claims we discussed the Pakistan-India war earlier this year. We did NOT. This clip is completely fake.
On the final day of #RAF2025, the fellows explored the UN80 initiative. They also shared the media pieces they have produced or are planning. During the closing moments, they expressed heartfelt gratitude to the RAF team, displaying warm thank-you messages onscreen.
Today, the fellows met with the Spokesperson for the Secretary-General and also heard from the ASG overseeing children in armed conflict and violence against children, as well as the Director of the SDG Action Campaign.
