Steve is injured. He’s scared.
When I visited him, he was nervous—but he accepted treats. No snapping. No lunging. Just a quiet dog trying to trust through the pain. He’s been through the ringer, and he doesn’t deserve for his story to end like this.
Steve likely suffered a hit by a car. His front leg was swollen and cut, and he’s previously was not bearing weight on it. It’s healing well. His back paw had a laceration as well. He’s was on antibiotics and pain medication, and was prescribed crate rest. This is an injury he’s now recovering from with care.
Even in pain and fear, Steve allowed handling at the vet. He didn’t need sedation for X-rays. He growled when approached by strangers—understandable given his condition—but he never tried to bite. This is not a dangerous dog. This is a hurt, confused one. And he has still shown the capacity to trust.
Steve doesn’t deserve a death sentence today. He deserves a chance. A place to rest. Someone to fight for him.
Unfortunately today I have to say “Good Bye” to my four legged best friend Heidi 🌈. I hope you are running free without pain. I am missing you so much!!! 😭😭😭
First he was told that he had to be put to sleep. Then it looked like he might never walk again but what nobody had counted on was the heart within little Stormzy.
I remember the days trying to teach him to walk. He must have fallen over 1000 times but every time he got back up
No words are needed; her cry says it all. The little girl, who grew up with "her" bull, teaches us a lesson in humanity and empathy by desperately begging for this animal's life. "He didn't do anything, he just wants to go home."
12 days difference in these photos.
Rocky was broken. Terrified and lashing out. His eyes were red raw and bulging with pain.
Look at the soft and dignified dog he is now. He can also see quite a bit.
Rocky was down but he wasn’t out ❤️
Sadly, some people call this dog “ugly,” yet loyalty and love will always matter more than appearance. To kind hearts, this beautiful soul deserves nothing but affection 🐾💛
A couple of months ago this billboard was rejected. At that time, we had 16,000 subscribers. Today we have 164,000. Power to the people 👊 https://t.co/1stbtsNZG1
Sharing for Kingston. To save his life.
“Kingston means "king's town"
... but his reality couldn't be further from that. Instead of a kingdom, he has a kennel. Instead of a family, he has people who walk past him. Every single day.
Kingston is only one year old. Just a baby. And he is the sweetest boy. Gentle, loving, playful, and so full of love to give. He is dog friendly, amazing with kids, and everything about him says "perfect family dog."
Right now, Kingston is on the urgent list.
And somehow... not one person has ever stopped to meet him. Not one person has ever asked to take Kingston out of his kennel. They walk by while he spins, jumps, and moves nonstop. They see chaos. They don't see stress. They don't see fear. They don't see a young dog losing his mind in an overwhelming environment.
This is not excitement. This is kennel stress. This is what happens when a loving, energetic dog is trapped behind bars with nowhere to go and no one to turn to.
If someone would just stop.
If someone would just ask to meet him. They would see the real Kingston.
Take him outside and he softens. A sweet, gentle, playful boy who loves fetch and proudly brings the ball back, dropping it right at your feet every time. A dog who wants to be close. A dog who wants to belong. He is sweet. He is gentle.
He is playful. And, he does not deserve to be invisible.
We don't know how Kingston is with cats. But we do know he deserves a home, a family, and a life that finally matches his name.
He is running out of time. This is who he is!!
Please stop scrolling.
Please share Kingston.
Please help him be seen.” 🙏
I shared this post from @ Sharing Lov3 on Tik Tok in hopes it helps Kingston be seen and be saved.

Story: I don’t even know where to start… my hands are still shaking.
Today, I had to say goodbye to my closest companion — my German Shepherd, my shadow, my heart. 💔🐾
For weeks, I could see him getting tired.
That quiet heaviness in his eyes… the slow steps… the way he’d pause before lying down.
But even then, he never stopped trying to be close to me.
He would gently place his head on my hand, follow me from room to room at his own slow pace — as if he wanted to make sure I always knew he was right there.
That’s who he was… loyal even in his tiredness. 🐾
Today the vet told me it was time, and something inside me shattered.
I held his paw — the same paw that used to pat my leg for attention — and he rested his head on my hand, just like he always did whenever he wanted comfort.
I whispered to him over and over how much I loved him, how much he meant to me.
I can only hope he felt it… hope he knew he was safe, loved, treasured. 💔
Watching him slip away was the hardest thing I’ve ever lived through.
The house feels painfully quiet now.
I keep catching myself listening for his footsteps in the hallway, or expecting to see him sitting by the door like he always did — guarding, waiting, watching over me.
He wasn’t “just a dog.”
He was my routine.
My comfort.
My steady presence.
My silent strength.
The one who stayed by my side through every season, every storm, every moment I didn’t think I’d get through.
Losing him feels like losing a part of myself.
Rest easy, my boy.
You gave me more love and loyalty than I ever deserved.
And I hope, wherever you are now, the pain is gone… and you’re running free again. 🌈
