By all accounts from family & friends who reached the border the experience is beyond horrific. The treatment the lack of services & the sheer number of people trying to cross. Spoke to a relative who arrived yesterday said 80buses were in the queue ahead of them

Every village & town we passed thru people would come out with their kerkade (hibiscus) juice and cold water for the “Khartoum travellers”. Humbling experience cause they don’t have much but were offering plenty.
Why would I leave this?
