Mohd. Sameer, an e-rickshaw driver from Libaspur in Delhi’s Samaypur Badli area, alleges that he was beaten by police after catching a man who allegedly tried to steal his e-rickshaw.
On September 6, he stopped his e-rickshaw by the roadside in Libaspur because he was hungry and began eating. A short while later, he noticed a man allegedly taking the vehicle away.
He chased the man and, with the help of another e-rickshaw driver, managed to catch him. People at the spot advised him to take the suspected thief to the police.
He then took the man to the Libaspur police chowki. There, he alleges that instead of taking action against the suspected thief, police personnel hit him on his hands with a baton.
Following the alleged beating, his hands became swollen and painful, leaving him unable to lift them properly. He has been unable to drive his e-rickshaw for the past four days, affecting his daily income and livelihood.
He lives with his elderly mother and is responsible for her care. He says the incident has left him physically unable to work and deeply distressed.
Benjamin Netanyahu ignored an “explicit warning” in the lead-up to October 7th, according to the Israeli newspaper Haaretz. Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed, the President of the United Arab Emirates, called Netanyahu a week and a half before the attacks with a specific warning, the journalists Shlomi Eldar and Ruth Yuval report. They write that bin Zayed cautioned that Yahya Sinwar, Hamas’s leader in Gaza, was “preparing a major event” in the near future. Sinwar was quoted in the article as telling an official from the rival Fatah faction that he was planning a “zilzal”—an “earthquake.” Netanyahu seemed untroubled, a close adviser to the Emirati ruler told the journalists. He didn’t update the heads of Israel’s security establishment about the conversation. Instead, he assured bin Zayed that Israel was “prepared for any scenario.”
“Newsbreaks in Haaretz, a liberal paper with strong investigative reporting, are often met with silence by much of the country, or brushed off as leftist propaganda by Netanyahu and his mouthpieces in the media,” Ruth Margalit writes. “This story seemed to land differently.” Read about the Israeli public’s response to the report and what it could mean for the upcoming elections: https://t.co/HyyoOuAkxp

It is possible, after three years of lies and bloodshed, that this revelation will be the decisive moment for a fence-sitting voter. But what can an article do that so many tangible, visceral moments of loss and pain haven't already? | @LindaDayan9

Israeli directors Yuval Abraham and Rachel Szor — who are two of the four co-directors of Oscar winner “No Other Land” — return with "NAZA."
The new documentary was shot at night on the rooftops of Tel Aviv and shows “in detail the systems behind Israel’s calculated mass killing of Palestinian civilians in Gaza,” per an official synopsis. Abraham and Szor interviewed 24 Israeli military intelligence officers and soldiers — all of whom spoke on the condition of anonymity — who were involved in the surveillance or remote killing of Palestinian civilians in Gaza. Their appearance and voices were digitally altered to disguise their identities.
"I think that this piece is likely to make the denial of what took place in Gaza — not only its genocidal nature, but really the specifics of what it looked like from inside the Israeli system — harder. We know there is a lot of denial happening. And to me, that denial is one factor that contributes to the crimes persisting," Abraham tells Variety.

BIG BIG Expose
The Satya Niketan PG building is totally illegal and unauthorised. Occupies land more than double the registry.
Just got this building plan of the PG belonging to MLA Anil Sharma’s extended Family.
The land registry is of only 230 sq yards but this PG a has occupied 400-500 sq yards.
CM @gupta_rekhaGovt must explain ?
MCD sanctioned Building plan is only for 193 Sq meter ( 230 sq yards) while PG is built on 400-500 sq meter. And that too only 75% coverage is allowed. They have covered all.
Now CM Rekha Gupta should send bulldozers and first demolish this PG .
Saurav visited schools in Punjab, pointed out the shortcomings, and the Education Minister met him and assured action.
Ashu did the same in Karnataka. The Education Minister met him and assured action.
But when we expose poor conditions in schools in BJP-ruled states, they send goons after our team.
Why is the BJP so afraid of accountability? Why is the BJP against education?

6 Gujarat-based registered unrecognised political parties that didn’t even contest any election received nearly ₹1,700 cr donations in a single year.
That’s 5 times more than the donations received by the Congress, a national party.
Elections in India are the biggest scam right now.
A message from a student who is studying in Paris:
“They taunted us by the name of the PM multiple times… Racism is at its peak
But yeah…. Terrible situation. And everyone is so mad at us in Paris for you know what
And at first we were equally mad so we gave back but then we realised they aren’t exactly wrong
Bhaiya….. national embarrassment hai yaar PM.
My local barista straight up said you guys aren’t that bad, but your prime minister should not be allowed to leave the country
Airport staff, like convenience stores waale, were actually pretty rude about it”
Dear Parisians,
Je suis désolé.
Dear Indians,
