@afcstuff I’m an Arsenal fan today because of this guy. 2008 Euros was the first football tournament I watched properly and I was absolutely amazed by his talent and personality. And then he moved to Arsenal and smashed four at Anfield. That day I became a gooner for life.
Between Argentina and FIFA cheating so blatantly in this World Cup and the long term layoffs of the 3 most important Arsenal players with no indication of signing any replacements or anyone noteworthy in the coming season I think I’m done with football at least for a year
@NoodleHairCR7 A few years down the line when power has changed hands, and people have moved on, I can imagine someone making a compelling documentary on how 2022 and especially 2026 World Cups were basically handed to Messi and Argentina. The title might be something like ‘A Nation’s Shame’
@RicciuP Am I the only one who can’t see what’s so special about him. I find Rice better looking. Maybe he has more personality or something else that I’m missing. Kaka, Beckham and some of the Italian lads of the good old days will give some of the Hollywood stars a run for their money
@Bob_cart124 I haven’t seen a single Argentina match since the Egypt game. I knew exactly they were gonna do the same against Switzerland and England. I find it unbearable. Now I won’t watch the final either. What’s the point. Can’t stand this amount of shameless cheating
You have been given everything your whole career, handed to you on a silver platter.
You have been by far the most favored and protected player in the history of football.
No denies your footballing ability but please have some fucking shame for once.
@aa9skillz To be fair if other nations’ players played with the same aggression as these guys they would receive a bunch of yellow cards and maybe a red card every game
@NoodleHairCR7 Once Argentina have cheated their way to another WC, a documentary needs to be made on all the favours Messi’s Argentina received from the refs in the last WC and this one. That’d be worth watching. Until then we rest. What else can you do in the face of such blatant corruption.
@NealGardner_ I’ve never supported Spain in my life. Find their football boring. But they would be the deserved winner of this tournament and I’d be happy for them if they win it. Argentina on the other hand…
@kirawontmiss No shit but the script is already written. Argentina are gonna rob England. Messi’s already got his fav ref for that game. Now that France is out, their biggest threat is eliminated. If Spain start outplaying Messi and co. refs would red card them all the way to the airport.
@RkFutbol Always thought France’s 424 was too attacking. In a big game they might lose the battle in the midfield. 433 with the right technical players will always be the gold standard
Hicieron una película de 26 minutos con todos los robos de Lionel Messi y su equipo en este Mundial. 😭😭😭😭
