THE FLESH HAS BEEN CRUCIFIED
📖 And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts" (Galatians 5: 24)
There exists a common misconception among many that the flesh must continually be "crushed" or subdued through repeated struggle and effort. But the Scripture presents a different reality: the Christian has already crucified the flesh.
The Complete Jewish Bible renders our opening scripture beautifully; it says, Moreover, those who belong to the Messiah Yeshua have put their old nature to death on the stake, along with its passions and desires." This is not a process but an accomplished reality: your old nature is dead: "Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new" (2 Corinthians 5: 17).
The reason many still struggle with the flesh is simple: they attempt to achieve what has already been accomplished, applying effort where understanding is required. The more they strive, the more they become subject to the very thing they're trying to overcome. That's not how it works. Live in the Word. Accept what the Word says about you.
Even the works of the flesh listed in Galatians 5 :19-21 are not attributed to demons but to the flesh itself, indicating that the issue is not external but internal. Understand that this doesn't place the Christian in a position of disadvantage, because the solution is not found in suppression but in substitution: "...walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh" (Galatians 5 :16).
The emphasis is not on eliminating the works of the flesh but on living in the Spirit and by the Spirit, walking in the light and reality of God's Word. As you walk in the Spirit, the life of the Spirit is manifested in you and through you, and the influence of the flesh is displaced. It helps to understand why the Bible says "...Sin shall not have dominion over you..." (Romans 6 :14).
PRAYER
Dear Father, thank you for the substitutionary work of Christ that has translated me from death to life, sin to righteousness, and from darkness to light. I walk in the Spirit and live in the reality of my new nature, manifesting the life of righteousness and dominion, today and always, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

Not every thought is from God, and not every thought you have originates from your own mind. Thoughts can come from multiple sources: from God, from your own mind, and even from demons.
That’s why you must give yourself wholly to the Word and the Holy Spirit.

"The Poor in spirit" is not about material lack but a profound spiritual posture—total surrender and detachment from worldly possessions, where everything is yielded to God for the advancement of His Gospel and Kingdom. Such believers count all things as loss compared to knowing Christ, living fully for His purpose with hearts completely submitted to Him.

Praying in the Spirit is the most powerful and effective way Christians are called to pray.
Through this divine partnership, your spirit is built up, strengthened, and supercharged with God’s power. It keeps you edified, fortified, and aligned with God's perfect will. When you yield to praying in the Spirit, the Holy Spirit prays through you in perfect harmony with God’s purpose, causing all things- even challenges- to work together for your good.
#PrayingInTheSpirit
Your good works doesn't make you acceptable before God. To be part of God's kingdom depends entirely on experiencing a spiritual transformation known as the new birth. This new birth recreates a person's human spirit; imparting the life and nature of God into them.
You must be born again to be part of God's Kingdom, to experience the God-life and come into oneness with Him- there’s no alternative.
#NoAlternative
Do not think you’re just facing problems- you ARE the solution! Every challenge that comes your way is drawn to the answer God has already placed inside you. You were born for victory, programmed for success, and called to manifest His glory. Your victory is assured. Whatever is born of God overcomes the world that includes you.
#YouAreTheAnswer
The Lord Jesus took all your sins, faults, and feelings of unworthiness to the cross out of love for you. He took responsibility for your sins, now there's no judgement against you.
Right now, He sees you as righteous, holy sanctified, glorified, and justified. The price has been paid. Everyone who believes is free to live in God's righteousness, peace and joy forevermore.
#NoCondemnation
As Christians, we are ambassadors of peace, commissioned by the Lord Jesus to boldly speak peace; because there’s power in our words- we speak with Heaven's authority.
We minister peace by declaring it over our lives, families, leaders, and countries—acting as bearers of divine tranquillity in a troubled world. Always speak peace.

IT’S ABOUT FELLOWSHIP
_📖But thou, when thou fastest, anoint thine head, and wash thy face; That thou appear not unto men to fast, but unto thy Father which is in secret: and thy Father, which seeth in secret, shall reward thee openly (Matthew 6 :17-18).
When we fast, it’s not because we want God to do something or give us something. He already did all He ever needed to do for us in Christ Jesus and has given us all things in Him. For example, 1 Corinthians 3:21-22 says, *“Therefore let no man glory in men. For all things are yours; “Whether Paul, or Apollos, or Cephas, or the world, or life, or death, or things present, or things to come; all are yours.”
Things present, and even things in the future, have all been granted you in Christ Jesus. Every promise concerning you has been fulfilled in Him. With this understanding, live without any consciousness of lack. There’s nothing you need that God hasn’t already provided. 2 Peter 1:3 says, "According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness….” Therefore, for the mature Christian, fasting isn’t a tool for obtaining answers from God or seeking blessings from Him. Rather, it’s a sacred period where you withdraw from food and distractions to focus on the Lord in worship, praise, thanksgiving and fellowship. It’s about fellowship. At such times, we can also engage deeper in spiritual warfare and topple forces that destroy men’s lives.
Maturity in Christ brings you to this higher understanding. We pray because of our relationship with our heavenly Father, and prayer is the communion that deepens and sustains our fellowship with Him. So, don’t fast and pray to get what’s already yours. You’re an heir of God and a joint- heir with Christ. You’re the seed of Abraham. The world belongs to you. You can do all things through Christ who strengthens you. Hallelujah!
Therefore, pray in your love for the Master and, with fasting when required, engage the forces of darkness to deliver men from their thraldoms.
*PRAYER*
Dear Father, thank you for granting me all things in Christ. I live with the consciousness that I’m a possessor of divine treasures. My prayers and fasting are expressions of love and communion with you as I walk in the reality of my divine heritage, in oneness with the Spirit, in Jesus’
Name. Amen.

REFUSE SATAN’S ACCUSATIONS
Pastor Chris Oyakhilome DSc DSc DD
And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night (Revelation 12: 10).
Observe what the opening scripture tells us about Satan: he’s the accuser of the brethren, the one who constantly brings charges against God’s children. He accuses you before God, to others, and even accuses you to yourself. He thrives on guilt, condemnation and self-blame, whispering lies that sound like your own thoughts.
He could make you question your right-standing with God and doubt your righteousness in Christ. Maybe you’ve been praying about something and it hasn’t yet manifested. Then, his voice comes, “The reason it hasn’t happened is that you’re not fasting enough; therefore, God is not pleased with you.” Then, suddenly, you begin to feel guilty and start repenting and blaming yourself. No!
The Bible says we’re not ignorant of Satan’s devices (2 Corinthians 2: 11). He’s a liar and the father of lies. If God needs to talk to you about fasting, He won’t need Satan’s help to do it. Moreover, God never accuses or blames His children. He corrects, instructs, and guides us through His Word and the Holy Spirit, but He never condemns or shames His own. That’s Satan’s strategy: to load you with guilt and make you question your righteousness.
Sometimes, you may find yourself holding someone responsible for something they never did or were guilty of. You’re convinced they’re guilty because Satan accused them to you. He stirs suspicion, resentment and division; refuse to give him the opportunity. Ephesians 4:27 says, “Neither give place to the devil.” Don’t give him the chance to peddle his lies, deceit, treachery and accusations around you. Believe only the Word and judge all things from the perspective of God’s truth and His righteousness. Maintain your righteousness-consciousness and walk in love.
Righteousness-consciousness eliminates guilt, condemnation or inferiority, and places you above Satan, and his accusations. It also gives you the boldness and confidence to pray to God and expect answers. You’re unafraid and unashamed before Him because you have peace with Him through the Lord Jesus Christ (Romans 5:1). Hallelujah!
*PRAYER / CONFESSION*
Dear Father, thank you for making me free from condemnation in Christ Jesus. My mind is filled with your Word, and I refuse to give place to the devil; his accusations have no power over me. I stand justified, sanctified and victorious in Christ Jesus. Amen.

Romans 8:33-34 (KJV)
Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God's elect? It is God that justifieth. Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.
John 8:44 (AMPC)
You are of your father, the devil, and it is your will to practice the lusts and gratify the desires [which are characteristic] of your father. He was a murderer from the beginning and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a falsehood, he speaks what is natural to him, for he is a liar [himself] and the father of lies and of all that is false.
1 John 3 :20 (KJV)
