The man who was punished for denying Ghadeer. The story of Harith Ibn Nu'manand the Prophet (pbuh)

When RasulAllah (pbuh) was at Ghadeer Khumm, he called the people to gather. They gathered,
and he grabbed the hand of Ali (as) and said: 'whoever l am his master, so Ali is his Master! That became widespread in every city. The news reached a man named Harith Ibn Nu'man. He came to RasulAllah (pbuh) upon a camel of his.

Harith descended from his camel, and tied it, then he met the Prophet (pbuh). The Prophet (pbuh) was in an assembly with his companions. Harith then said, 'Oh Muhammad! You ordered us on behalf of Allah that we should testify that there is no god except Allah, and that you are a messenger of Allah and we accepted it. You ordered us that we should pray five dailt prayers, we accepted it. You ordered us with the Hajj, we accepted it.

You were not pleased with all that until you raised the merit of the son of your uncle, and preferred him over us and you said: 'One who l am their master, Ali is his master? Is this something from you or from Allah?! The Prophet (pbuh) said: 'By Allah, Who, there is no god except He! This is from Allah (swt).

Harith turned around intending to go back to his camel, and he was saying, 'O Allah! If what Muhammad says is true, then rain upon us
stones from the sky or give us a painful punishment [Qu'ran 8:32J. Harith had not even reached his camel when Allah (swt) pelted him with a stone (from the sky), and it fell upon his skull and exited from his behind.
