"The only man who has the right to say that he is justified by grace alone is the man who has left all to follow Christ." - D. Bonhoeffer

Anyone who makes sin a habit is not born of God. #FirstJohn (3:9-10)

[FBC Edge Students @fbcedgestudents]

Jesus came to take away sins, therefore, anyone who makes sin a habit does not know Jesus, but is of the devil. #FirstJohn (3:5-8)

[FBC Edge Students @fbcedgestudents]

Anyone who makes sin a habit is an outlaw. #FirstJohn (3:4-10)

[FBC Edge Students @fbcedgestudents]

There won't be an ugly bride in a tattered dress walking the aisle to marry Jesus. (Ephesians 5:25-27) #FirstJohn

[FBC Edge Students @fbcedgestudents]

His love for us is more about the "His" than the "us".

Why does God allow good things to happen to any of us (bad people)?

[Marca Cain @marcaisforgiven]

@fbcedgestudents It was so good to see all of you last night. My ❤️ is still busting wide open with fullness this morning! Love you guys!

[FBC Edge Students @fbcedgestudents]

None of us can respond correctly (1 Cor. 2:14; Acts 16:14) to the gospel unless we are first regenerated (given new desires) #FirstJohn

[FBC Edge Students @fbcedgestudents]

A person is regenerated...
by the will of God (John 1:13; James 1:18) & according to His great mercy (1 Peter 1:3). #FirstJohn

[FBC Edge Students @fbcedgestudents]

When God regenerates us, we are then able to turn from our sins and put our faith in Jesus. #FirstJohn

[FBC Edge Students @fbcedgestudents]

Regeneration (born of God) is a miraculous act of God in which He imparts new spiritual life to us. #FirstJohn

[FBC Edge Students @fbcedgestudents]

If you abide (remain) in Him, it is proof that you have been born of Him (new person, gone from death to life). #FirstJohn (2:28-29)

[FBC Edge Students @fbcedgestudents]

If you are not abiding, you will be hiding. #FirstJohn (2:28)

[FBC Edge Students @fbcedgestudents]

God will not share you with the world. #FirstJohn

[FBC Edge Students @fbcedgestudents]

You are not THE antichrist, but that doesn't exempt you from the possibility of being AN antichrist (1 John 2:18-27). 6:30PM at the EDGE!
