@ELNCamilista You can believe in your heart that murder or theft is okay all day long, it does not matter one bit. You are not Catholic and i urge you to become one for the sake of your salvation.
@ELNCamilista You openly deny the teaching of the church regarding sexual relations. If one wishes to be a Catholic they need to assent to the teaching of the church on faith and morals. And in this case, this falls under the morality sphere. May you repent before its too late.
if our charity toward the poor depended on what they did with our generosity, then we utterly lack charity in the supernatural order which of its nature mirrors the charity of God who always extends it to us even as we throw it to the wind time and time again
The “hermeneutic of continuity” can literally be applied to anything: you can take any heretical text you’d like and twist it with a disproportionate amount of effort to mean something orthodox.
That doesn’t mean you should lol. When there’s a moral certainty that the text is incompatible with Catholic doctrine/praxis, then it should simply be condemned. Trying to square it with Catholicism at that point is irrational and therefore sinful.
"It is not Christian to have feelings of animosity. We must continue to love the pope, even to love Cardinal Fernandez, to forgive them from the bottom of our heart and to pray for them."
