On This Day in Sports History – 2/7/76 - IU faced Michigan in Ann Arbor, escaping 72–67. Kent Benson’s tip‑in tied the game and forcing overtime, where IU outscored Michigan to secure the win.
Benson was a member of FCA in HS and College reflecting his faith on and off the court.
