At least once a week, I consider deactivating just about every platform. It's @MattSmethurst and voices like his that continue to redeem this space and have me hanging in (for now :)). Read this, and put it into practice (please)!
Especially to my FCA teammates, I'd draw your attention to this -- a couple of class options, incredible value, great summer investment in yourself and your ministry!
Here's a quick look at the vision behind a program from @TruettSeminary that provides continuing education and leadership development for Christians in sports.
I'm kind of biased (ok completely biased), but I'm excited to get this thing going!

This is from March 30. God reminded me of it tonight. This was 2ish weeks after COVID-19 shut down much of our world/lives. The individual and collective grief has not waned, not that I can see/feel. Truly, it's multiplied. I need Jesus every moment of every day, in all things.
I have zero data to back this up, but I think the quality of our conversation re polarizing issues would improve by 38% if we simply asked,

High school coaches are mentors to many young African-Americans. On Saturday, they'll rally to show their student-athletes that their voices matter and can create change. @CoachWatts52 @Chosen2give@NBC12
This! Could watch over and over. @TurnerSportsEJ is first-rate, speaking and leading from his heart. Certainly hope @TurnerSportsPR gets that video in a shareable space soon!
That piece by Ernie Johnson was the best thing I’ve seen in quarantine. If you aren’t motivated to care for those who are vulnerable in this season then you don’t have a pulse. Wow that was good.
Brilliant advice from an outstanding leader, @WheatonCollege president Philip Ryken. He encouraged his community to be "maximally flexible and uncommonly charitable" as it moves toward the fall. What if we all did that, all the time? What a world that would be.
