🚨 Pep Guardiola on Julián Álvarez’s departure from Manchester City:
🗣️ “ Do you know one if the toughest call I made? To let go of Julián maybe you won't understand because you're not a coach.
Julian and I had an excellent relationship. He was an extraordinary guy, professional every single day, and he never created one problem for the club.
But I understood what he wanted. Julián wanted to be the main No.9, to play the biggest games and feel that responsibility. With Erling Haaland here, I could not promise him that.
He played many positions for us, scored important goals and helped us win everything. But sometimes a player reaches a moment where he needs a new challenge.
When Atlético Madrid came with a serious offer, and Julián told us he wanted to leave, we respected his decision. We could have kept him, but keeping an unhappy player is not our way.
There was never a bad relationship between us. I will always be grateful to Julián. I wanted him to stay, but I also wanted him to be happy and play the football he believed he deserved.”
@nahte099@HenryTheFilth@PSGINT_ Initial bid of 100 needs to be acknowledged and then negotiations can start. Plus if they tell the player he can leave, just like they did, then his agent has every right to contact Barca or Barca his agent. It’s that simple. No crimes here
I’m sure he had high hopes of winning something and now he’s seen clearly y’all are up to no good. And every player that comes there sure as hell know they aren’t going to do anything special, just a pay raise and a nice city. Ever wonder why you even compete when you’re not going to win anything? Be honest with yourself. Are you even league contenders this season?
@HenryTheFilth@PSGINT_ Dumb f*ck! Julian asked Atletico to come to the table to negotiate just like Laporta is saying, they have to acknowledge the first bid and then they can negotiate further.
@PSGINT_@ACruishner It was never obvious. Now you’re disgraceful yourself as a modern man for supporting ones who can’t keep their word. Why even post this when you know Atletico had an agreement and didn’t honor it? Clout?
Just like Ferran would be crying if we hadn’t sold him to you. A contract can always be renewed so that’s no excuse. He was told he could leave, I don’t care about his 50 year contract.
When you don’t keep your word he has every right to act up. Modern men who can’t keep their word are as disgraceful as those who support them.
modern men are genuinly a disgrace
dude signed a 6 year contract with Barcelonas second biggest rivals
throws a tantrum, starts crying and victimizing himself because Atletico won't let him go to Barca
and now he is "depressed" 🤣😭
a man that can't take accountability for his own actions is not a man

He’s in top form that’s why he’s playing. Same with Olmo and Fermin. If Balde doesn’t improve in training, he could be on the bench all season. It’s what Flick sees in training, Flick is a highly principled man, show that you want to play and you will. If Xavi Espart continues to perform better in training and even better in matches, the only time Balde in see the pitch is when he’s warming up.
Balde is not playing because he’s injured, he’s not performing according as highly as Flick would want and Espart is. So if Balde doesn’t raise his game or improve, then I don’t see any world where he plays ahead of Espart and I couldn’t care less.
Remember to follow me guys 🙏🔥
🚨 According to COPE, Julián Alvarez is dealing with serious mental health struggles, which have kept him out of training ❤️🩹
The report adds that playing for Barça remains a personal ambition for the Argentine 🇦🇷
Wishing Julián strength and all the time and support he needs during this difficult period 🙏
@appiecule As all players should be, I don’t think even Raphinha would be angry to come off the bench in any match. Whatever’s good for the team is what should matter.
And to the @atleti fans asking as to pay the release clause should keep in mind they are not willing to sell to Arsenal at that value. Arsenal will pay less than 150m fixed. So why should we? Plus the player doesn’t even want Arsenal. And I think that’s what hurts Gil Marin and atleti fans the most. He just doesn’t want to leave, he wants somewhere better, BARCELONA!🔵🔴
Don’t forget to follow me guys. I follow back
Delusional… this is proof Alvarez is bigger than your club. You keeping a player that clearly doesn’t want you just goes to show how much you need him. And about wanting to sell to Arsenal and not Barcelona, is the behaviour and mentality of a small club not the elite delusion you’re going on about. Suarez won you a league, you wouldn’t have won it. Think about that… “Pathetico”
