‼️🚨2024 SECTIONAL CHAMPIONS🚨‼️

We had some MASSIVE personal records and a couple new team records today at the Floyd Central IHSAA Sectional!

FC has won its first Unified Sectional championship in 7 years and it’s 3rd in team history! Congrats to all the competitors!!

🚨A 7 year old team record fell last night as Ava Reese hit a HUGE personal record of 12-03.75, just 2.75 inches better than Kendyl Brack’s record from 2017!

Ava also PR’ed in both Long Jump AND shot put! Great job Ava!!!

‼️🚨ANOTHER RECORD LAST NIGHT🚨‼️

Briah Sirbak broke our girls unified 100m dash record by 0.05s last night! Briah has worked super hard at Long jump (where she also PR’ed last night) all season, but no one expected her to suddenly break the 2 year old record for the 100m dash!
