i am fully addicted to claude design. imo it’s break through product in so many ways.
i’m not exaggerating. it’s completely rewired how i think, ideate, & ultimately make decisions. every single time i use figma, it feels like the old way of thinking where you have to manually earn every single pixel (not to mention it’s slow af & feels heavy/complicated). also every single time i have to open the figma app, the fucking update app popup comes up, wtf. if i were anthropic i’d triple down on this product. the ideation → conception → build loop is the most important loop for humanity since the dawn of creation.
if anyone at anthropic wants feedback from a heavy user who’s a genuine fan of the product, my dms are open.
I argued with a decel who despised @elonmusk.
It started by him claiming Elon inherited $100M from his father.
I asked him Elon’s father’s name. He didn’t know.
He didn’t know a thing about Errol Musk. Just recited propaganda.
Then he said Elon wasn’t even an engineer. Just a marketer.
I said I have engineering friends that worked closely with Elon. Elon knew every detail about the rocket and car. But he didn’t believe Elon could know everything.
Then he started making more egregious claims.
Said Elon’s companies are bad for society.
Tesla using all this lithium and rare earths causing ecological disasters. That SpaceX may cause a bunch of space debris. And that both companies were only possible because of US government. That Elon wasn’t special, but just got lucky since gov chose him.
Some people would rather do nothing and regulate. They would rather be critical of the builders, than build.
They would rather centralize control and claim they are doing what’s best for society.
They want to belittle great individuals.
We can’t let this mindset win.
These people sound smart, but are dumb and destroy society.
Great techno-industrialists create a bigger pie and make all of society more well-off. They make things more economically viable, increase productivity and our quality of life.
These people are fucking heroes.
We must celebrate those that have the courage and will to build big important things.
Without them, humanity is worse off.
I see some pretty terrible nannies daily, always on their mobile, yelling at kids, just negative vibes all around.
Sometimes, I see some based moms that can handle twins, no sweat.
Rarely do I see dad's out there consistently.
Lesson in there.
THE MARTIAL ARTIST ARCHETYPE.
I think we can all agree.
The takes on this app about fighting, bodybuilding & physical training are low IQ.
On one side, you have MMA bro's who think if you know how to fight you are magically going to have girls fall on your lap, and have a status & presence.
The other hand, bodybuilders argue that if they are 30-50lb heavier and stronger than you, your fighting ability means nothing.
Here is the biggest issue with these pointless debates.
In the real world, the capable man reigns supreme.
What is the use of being an elite fighter if you are living pay check to pay check?
And you are objectively broke?
This by definition does not make you capable.
In the same token, being a multimillionaire that's overweight and works 100 hours a week with no time for his family.... Is also not a flex.
The rarest breed of man, is the one that can do it all.
Fighters should be captializing on the fact that more lawyers, doctors and CEOs are interested in combat (BJJ in particular). We have seen this with Zuckerberg.
Even as a bodybuilder, instead of boring monotonous stair climber cardio, touch spar, hit pads & rip the heavy bag. You can absolutely have the best of both worlds.
And unless you have UFC professional ambitions as a fighter, martial arts should be used as a vehicle to learn valuable lessons that can be applied to business.
I have experienced this myself where if I miss even a few weeks of sparring, my mental acuity and ability to handle adversity suffers.
I personally have 0 interest in becoming a professional fighter, but martial arts helps voluntarily force you into an environment where you can't be soft.
How hard is making a few phone calls and sending a few emails, when you are constantly pushing your physical limits & testing yourself against other physically capable men?
The weight room doesn't give you this.
The 80/20 of combat sports in my opinion is using it like this:
1. Utilise the cardio benefits of training martial arts as this is a gap missing in bodybuilding routines.
2. Leverage the psychological & mental edge it gives you in a society where everyone is softer than ever.
3. Don't use MMA ability as cope for being skinny and not building above average strength & muscle mass.
4. If you are a professional fighter, you need to leverage this to give yourself business opportunities in the real world.
I get it, you're born to fight. But have $100 to your name because you haven't structured your career correctly is a disservice to your future family.
This is a longer post, but those that think you either have to be working 24/7 and can't carve out 5 hours of your week to exercise, just shows you have piss poor business acumen.
You're also allowed to train martial arts and have bodybuilding goals as well.
Might not be the BEST if you want to be the best fighter possible.
But think for yourself.
Everyone has different goals.
my past bitch-ass self from a month or so ago almost decided to check into rehab to fight my vices.
almost gave into the devil, never again
what a blessing; to know the devil is to know God
THE MAIN THING pt 4
GOD FIRST
Everything you need is within, your subconscious links to the collective consciousness. Don't need to cut out your friends or change your environment. Your mindset, awareness of subconscious, and relationship with God will bend reality to your will
