For students, by students.
And...that’s a wrap. Well, not for this pandemic (yet). We’re inactive, but our posts are still here as a resource. Stay safe 🤩
This year tested us, and we all deserve free unlimited ice cream for this. But, we made it 💪
F*ck It Won’t Cut It began as a campaign made by students for students, but the only reason we had a safe & successful year on-campus is because of the students.
Thank you ❤️
Thank you for being a loving friend, a thoughtful peer, and for taking the extra time to take care of yourself. And, obviously thank you for supporting us ❤️
When f*ck it will cut it again, we’ll let you know. Stay safe, and we’re always here as your resource 😎
Love,
FIWCI
Hey followers,
We promise not to get sappy (at least in this first sentence).
A year ago, we were all stuck in our high school bedrooms researching banana bread recipes while scrolling through hometown Tinder. By Fall 2020, no one thought we’d last two weeks on-campus...
Instead, we changed our everyday lifestyles and spent a WHOLE YEAR safely on-campus during a literal pandemic 😷 💪
Sacrifices were made (sry BU frat party scene), tears were shed, and too much money was spent on takeout, but we did it...
FYI - A mask mandate is still in effect in Mass. This requires people to wear masks in indoor public places and outdoors when they are unable to maintain 6 feet of distance from others.
So...don't throw away your mask just yet 😉
😷 The CDC just eased its mask-wearing and social-distancing guidance for fully vaccinated people. Here’s what you need to know ⬇️

"It is the hundreds of people working tirelessly all year that have made this possible—along with a campus community that followed the protocols and recognized that together we truly can accomplish anything."

‼️ Big news ‼️
Make sure you get vaccinated ASAP 👏
If you aren't ready to ditch the mask (when allowed), that's okay! Give yourself grace and go at your own pace 😎
UPDATE: If you are fully vaccinated against #COVID19, you can resume activities without wearing a mask or staying 6 feet apart, except where required by federal, state, local, tribal or territorial laws, incl. local business and workplace guidance. More: https://t.co/FJMon7WlFO
Psychology around masks is similar to changing wardrobes at the end of winter. Those more risk averse wear winter clothes on 50 degree days. Bigger risk takers opt for shorts.
Eventually...everyone will be wearing shorts 😉
Go at your own pace ❤️

"Getting the vaccine is so important," says @GGronvall, a senior scholar with @JHSPH_CHS.
It's not only for any one person's sake, she says, but because "it protects the people around you." https://t.co/1VCO3b3x1B

Luckily, BU Healthway's vaccine nurses have Q&A booths at test collection sites this week!
They can answer questions about vaccine logistics and safety. They can also help you set up an appointment 🙌
