Neither Nikki nor Bear is a villain. There is no villain. It's just a sad, tragic story. And people can no longer differentiate between a flawed character and an evil person because they're incapable of processing things outside of the most black-or-white lens imaginable.
@missmayn You could argue that filmmakers could cut in a performance bonus royalty for crew members, as a part of early deals, if it passes certain box office milestones. But I don’t know enough about the business to know if that’s plausible or even makes sense. Maybe we’ll get there soon.
@missmayn People need to realize, it doesn’t MATTER what the film makes at the box office when it’s an indie or a debut feature film. The staff were paid according to the budget. The box-office gross goes to the studios, distributors, and anyone else who was cut in for an equity deal.
Look, the idea that everyone is pissed off because God of War: Laufey has a woman protagonist is just stupid. No one thinks that. They waited 8 years to get Kratos back and then got two fun games. They don't want a side story they want the next story. Would be just as annoyed if it was Atreus!
@JavedLSterritt Literally stoked for Intergalactic too, cause it’s a new IP direction. God of War uniquely doesn’t warrant a different protagonist. If it was a shorter spin-off, like Miles Morales, it’d be fine. But a mainline game is kinda mindblowing.
@JavedLSterritt There’s a wide group of people including myself that are upset about the direction, not misogyny. I LOVE TLOU2, and I enjoyed Yotei. Those had narrative reasons to play as new characters. Kratos IS God of War for me. I would have been just as mad if it was an Atreus game instead.
@InfinityWard@Wheeledgamer Okay but will the movement keep some of the realism aspects of omnimovement? I don’t want to see flat prone 360 spinning in a new COD game ever again…

Aubrey Drake Graham showed off his LIFESTYLE at 17 years old in 2004 before the FAME and before becoming an A-LIST CELEBRITY, showing his FIRST CAR, a 2004 Acura CSX he got for his BIRTHDAY, and giving a tour of the house he lived in with his parents 👀😳💰
@filled_popcorn He turns in his fucked up father and takes over the business. He borrows money, works hard, tries to make it all work. Now, if they made him an addict or something? Compelling. But nope. He’s a normal guy who get’s tourtured and die’s from a snake. What an absolute fucking waste.
@filled_popcorn I don’t think we’re meant to feel sorry for him. If anything, he literally made NATE get tortured as a side plot to appease people for how shitty he was in S1+2. I literally HATED him, but Fez beating him to shit was enough. Him owing arbitrary money we know nothing about is lame
