Always a tough day for @FairfaxCountyPD family. All are in our thoughts and prayers. We Remember, we Honor, and we can never say Thank You enough for your sacrifice.
Today we remember and honor our fallen sister, Detective Vicky O. Armel. In 2006, she was tragically killed when a suspect opened fire on her and other officers. Her dedication to her community during her 17 years with the department has not been forgotten. #EOW#FCPD

Please help us to be able to continue to serve you. The CRS system has been greatly expanded and we are greatful to all of the Officers that have been reassigned to make this happen 24/7. Thank you for the support!

On Tues., March 3 we’re joining @fox5dc@InovaHealth@VaDOTNOVA and many more for the Eyes Up, Phones Down event, hosted by @fairfaxcot 🚘 📵 This event is a fun and educational way for teen drivers to learn the facts about the hazards of distracted driving! #FCPD
HB 438 and SB 561 are complementing bills that would help provide support to our Public Safety professionals suffering with PTSD. Please see below and help us support these everyday heroes that give so much to making and keeping our communities safe!
Police Officer Katherine Thyne https://t.co/kNXoLGUORw Our deepest condolences to the family and friends of Ofc. Thyne and our Sisters and Brothers of the Newport News PD.
https://t.co/S0K9gjUrMe Well, this is promising... certainly a good start when @jjouvenal@washingtonpost@ABC7News know more about what is going on in a courtroom than the Officers listed on the summonses and docs or the Judge on the bench...
Please listen to this short video from Lloyd, a Fairfax County resident whose son, Henry, died from an opioid overdose. As Commonwealth’s Attorney, I will aggressively prosecute those who profit off the sale of these deadly drugs.
On this day in 2008, we tragically lost Second Lieutenant Francis “Frank” Joseph Stecco, who drowned while participating in a helicopter water rescue training scenario. He proudly served our community for 19 years, and today we memorialize him and honor him for his service. #FCPD
