Yesterday the Child Development teachers certified their students in CPR and AED use for adults, children, and infants. These young people are now equipped to provide lifesaving assistance to children in their care.

The Annual Automotive Career Fair was held today at the @FCPSMaryland Career & Technology Center. Many auto shops came to speak with our Ss about opportunities for high paying careers in the auto industry. Our CTC prepares students for life after high school. @CTCPrincipal

A busy week in CTE! After a successful Tech Fair, middle school students were given the opportunity to be part of the first Middle School Career Expo. We continue to provide students with the opportunity to explore many exciting and rewarding career pathways!

Last Night’s 32nd Annual Career & Tech Fair was bigger than ever. 300 middle school students and their families showcased CTE programs in Business, Engineering, and Computer Science. Another great way @FCPSMaryland is preparing students for careers and college 🚀

CTE Advisory Council met with industry partners today and had robust conversations about how to prepare students for careers after high school. CTE is taking steps to certify 45% of @FCPSMaryland graduates to earn industry recognized certifications to get them career ready.
