My freshman year at Baylor I was MISERABLE because i went from avg 30ppg in high school to playing 5 minutes a game at Baylor. My mom took upon herself to go talk to Coach Mulkey behind my back... lol here’s how that went.
MJ said, "Every day in practice was a competition so when the game came it was nothing I hadn't already practiced. It was routine. Work ethic eliminates fear."
Navy SEALS say, "You don't rise to the occasion; you sink to the level of your training."

Congratulations to Sr. Ella Bolton on being selected to the Indiana Coaches of Girls Sports Association (ICGSA) First Team Academic All State! #bettertogether
Don’t be a detriment to your team by being a bad teammate. Good teammates work hard & encourage hard work in others. They increase morale, listen well, lead by example, inspire with a great attitude, give 100%, are energetic/coachable & always promote the team. Be that teammate!
During practice, selfless teammates will momentarily put aside their friendships & compete against each other because they care about the team’s success in competition! Practice the way you play! It’s never personal. It’s just necessary for true preparation. Competing IS caring!
