Opening Weekend for Division 1 baseball reminded us what we all know, but often forget.
So many talented prep players who we all thought would be 3 year starters before getting drafted, never touched the field this weekend. Yet so many players we all thought would get cut in the fall or never ever play over their 4 years in college, somehow got in a game their first weekend.
Baseball is hard to explain, but it gets a little bit easier when you find a good fit for you where there is a path to be successful.
The season is a long race, and Opening Weekend is the starting blocks, not the finish line. There is still plenty of time to change your own narrative!
