Tax touts are underpolitical influences and they are not trained, due to double taxation business are discouraged from starting up in FCT.

There are 3 tiers of government highlighted in collection of revenue, the Area Councils, FCT,FCT-IRS, this should be harmonized. This would ease and simplify the taxation process. It would also reduce double taxation and make business conduction easier #FCTTaxConvo @OfficialFCTA

To tackle multiple taxation,there has to be harmonization of taxes in a single checklist and stakeholders should be carried along.

1) There should be a harmonized frame work or bye-laws that should be used by all Area Councils.

Creation of a legal frame work by the National Assembly should be provided, a frame work as to how the Area councils should collect revenue, and due to the absence of those frame work the Area councils create bye-laws that brings about outrageous billing. #FCTTaxConvo
