Yes, some people who claim to be religious drink alcohol knowing that it’s haram, yet don’t approach pork.
It’s more about peer pressure than Islam.
I grew up with friends who do this. They secretly don’t actually care about religion and are too afraid to admit it either to themselves or to their social circle. They are actually pretending.
