@jontechilovsky @Vic_pel @leeskeet Have you never considered an action going against your own morals so much so that you’d rather be without it? If someone was acting horrendously bad, and an employee felt denigrated, why would you take their money?
@ryanflorence@tannerlinsley Please do expand a little. Iframes certainly isolate things (in particular styles IMO), but they make interop and seamlessness hard. Eg. scrolling?
@willklein_@EmmaBostian Yes, keeping them awake is definitely a myth. Also, I’d say being attentive to when they’re ready to drop a nap during the day is important to keep up good night sleep. Not that Emma is even close to that point yet though. But for the future!
@tomzmijewski@EmmaBostian This, I feel, is true. Although let’s be honest there will be setbacks too along the way 😄 Taking me back to trying to find just the right bounce, every time…
@hanaharencar@Air2ick@PeladoCollado@EmmaBostian I think you’d find most of the men responding are dads. Maybe like me. I was having a hard time understanding how to care for my first born and make sure we all got good sleep too. Reached out for help and found mostly women writing books about training/guidance. And it worked.
@nagyegrimate@EmmaBostian This was us too! Struggled hard for a few months with sleep, including daytime sleep for a while. Then I came across this and let my wife get some rest while I put this book to practice. Took some work, but sleep has not been a problem since (20 months old now).
@rafalfilipek@thekitze Haha, this! But you had mode and shift keys? Lucky. Only arrow keys for me. And then learned it doesn’t support the space key, so had to change WiFi password and update all other devices…
@soapietrekkers@editingemily Fine, you got me. How the hell do you associate lack of sleep due to awake child with “I learned how to sleep when and wherever in the army”?
@Der_Pesse @catcarbn @code4QueerNCute I hope it’s ok to ask (re engagement tweet before), but I’d really like to know what harmful “hot takes” this refers to? I’ll try to figure it out myself but would appreciate any pointers.
@kristianhjelle@bakkenbaeck Exciting and awesome news! I remember talking with you about your application to @bakkenbaeck and I was delighted they recognized the talent back in the day. Good luck in your future endeavors!
@nodeskco@idaaa@silvio_eckl Was the feedback predominantly from people in North America and Europe? Really strange list. You can select North America or specifically US/Canada, but Africa doesn’t even make the list.
@Jeffrey903 I actually think this is pretty clever. Just today I noticed a Norwegian carrier offering a discount on refurbished phones if you opted out of charger and/or headphones. Most people with iPhones probably already have a pretty good set of chargers and cables already, I know I do.
@brian_d_vaughn@sarah_edo Maybe a benefit of living in a compact city (Oslo, Norway), but my commute to the office is about 3.75 miles round trip walk. Can save ~20 min a day with public transport, but I prefer walking for the physical (and mental) energy.
