Ralsei is being way more open about things after being grilled in the church by Susie. Susie herself is cursed with knowledge of the prophecy. It also looks back on their arcs -

I feel like there's a disconnect between me and other Deltarune fans because I'm more interested in how the characters interface with the themes of the game than the lore or every chapter being a heavy immediate progression to the overarching narrative.

I think the one big negative point I have abt chapter 5 is that asgore kinda got shafted. Not in a "oH hE dIdNt HaVe AuRa!!" way but like it feels like he had character development that was offscreen

Filler in a story is not "a slower paced stretch where there aren't huge plot beats or a lot of reveals", filler is "the guys making a shonen anime are scared of catching up to the source so they make up a story about the characters learning how to drive or fighting dinosaurs"
