Quilibrium.

These past few weeks, it's been called *the new* $TAO, $QUBIC, or $SMH, but what exactly is Quilibrium, and what does the future hold for the $QUIL token? Let's go through a project overview and navigate the price speculation area.

About the project:

Essentially, this approach to building an operating system is about creating a private, uncensored web-like structure of data and resources to manage and operate a computer's functions. This makes it easier to develop decentralized applications that can operate efficiently in this interconnected environment.

Projects built on Quilibrium can leverage the unique features of a decentralized operating system, including its file system, scheduler, communication, and key management. Let's take a look at the $QUIL tokenomics:

The $QUIL token is a fully fair-launched token with no pre-sales, seed rounds, or insider allocations. There are 561 million tokens in circulation. With a current price of $0.37 per token, the market cap is floating around $200 million. An estimated 50 million tokens have been lost due to unclaimed vouchers and lost keys.

Emissions are tied to proof of meaningful work, which combines proofs of data availability and execution. The issuance rate is not fixed; it scales with the overall supply/demand for compute/storage, and this curve is relative to the overall data shards in the network.

Tokens are burned as part of execution and storage rent, with costs directly proportional to the number of logical gates used in fulfilling the interaction. Below, you can see an $QUIL emission curve graph. The expected supply is set to hit 1 billion by early 2025 and up to 2 billion by 2034.

Price speculation:

I'm very bullish on Quilibrium. It has all the makings of a successful, flagship project in the field: cutting-edge technology, strong ideals, a robust community, adaptable tokenomics, a higly scalable network, a fair launch, and a brilliant developer.

Since its launch, the price action has been nothing short of amazing, and I believe $QUIL has the potential for a vertical run continuing for months like $KAS. However, I anticipate a range where node farmers and whales may exit their long-held positions to cover costs and take some profits, likely around the $1 level.

Overall, for this cycle, a $5 price target seems very attainable. If the bull run hype doesn't fade, I see it going well beyond that.
