Reflection time: differentiation comes in many forms. I am a very cautious supervisor and these activities are out of normal routine. But it was a good teaching moment to make sure there's a safe area, doing it around parents, and not at school. Is this something you would allow?

When we speak of the ecology of learning, this is what you could do to inspire your student to achieve greatness. No matter the barriers they face, you alone could turn that one person into an interest they never knew they had. Setting kids up to live their dream is so important.

The hardest thing to teach in physical education is how to play with everyone. Sport is fun, I tell them all the time, no matter how good you do in class today, you won’t be on sportscenter in the morning. Include everyone, be a team player, and play for fun, not to win

Today we created a partnership outside of student teaching and hosted 40 student female athletes from Shenandoah University. Today, we celebrated NGWSD and showed our students that they can be fierce warriors like the ones in front of them. Start their dreams young.
