Getting outdoors is a great way to support our mental health, including anxiety and mood. Sunshine, even in winter, releases serotonin which supports mood, and exercise releases endorphins which makes us feel good too! Get some outdoor time in today!

Our Christmas Kindness tree is filling up with ornaments in our classroom. When we catch our kindies doing something kind, they get to add an ornament. We will soon be running out of branches with how much kindness we see everyday @sttimothy3 #tistheseason #kindnesstree

Some of our friends used their scissor skills to cut shapes into paper to make their own snowflakes. We talked about how each snowflake is different and wondered how they are formed in the sky....

Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow! We started a snowflake inquiry today with our @sttimothy3 FDK friends! We started by catching some snowflakes on black paper and examining them with some magnifying glasses ❄️

We had fun listening to some vinyl today in our @sttimothy3 FDK classroom! When we asked the students what they thought the record player was our favourite answers was “a disco”! #learningthroughplay #throwback

It’s that time of year again! Our class was SO excited to notice a special delivery to @sttimothy3 all the way from the North Pole! After making a graph from our guesses of what was in the box, we opened it to find our classroom elf! Welcome back Sparkles!

Happy Snow Day @sttimothy3 FDK friends! Yesterday some of our students looked around our classroom and wrote down words they see and know! This is a fun activity to do at home as well... but don’t forget to get outside and enjoy the snow!
