The Marine Division held a shift in Stapleton County today. With seven seamen, including the Admiral, an Ensign, and a Seaman First Class, we successfully neutralized multiple maritime and land threats to the correctional facility.

On December 29th, 2024, FDOC:MD Seamen, SCSO:SWAT Operatives, and an FSP:ESU trooper responded to a hostage situation on the Stapleton County Lake. After lengthy negotiations by tactical units, a shootout ensued, the takers were downed, and the hostage secured.

Today, the Marine Division held its first Field Training session since the streamlining of the Marine Academy process. The Admiral, an Ensign, and five Enlistees were in attendance.

As of today March 25th 2024, Vice Admiral JerseyOperators has resigned from the Department of Corrections and Marine Division we thank him for his service within the Marine Division and FDOC and wish him luck in his future!

The Marine Division was called out to handle a hostage situation on a yacht on the waters. All takers were successfully neutralized, and all hostages were secured safely.

Last Saturday, the Department of Corrections hosted a vessel showcase at Greendale Docks. Civilians had the opportunity to explore many department vessels. We thank every department that contributed to this event. We hope the public enjoyed it as much as we did!

Over the past few weeks we have opened applications into the Marine Division. We have accepted 4 new people into the division. Congratulations to all of those who have passed their Basic Seaman Trainings so far and wish them luck in the County.

On Monday, we hosted @PublicWorks_FS to conduct a full cleaning of the prison on the inside and out. This event was very successful as usual and we always enjoying having the FDPW stop by and clean anytime!
