🌐 Digital risks have real-world consequences.
At the Global Partnerships Conference in London this week, hosted by @FCDOGovUK and @SAHC_UK, our “Digital Dilemmas” immersive experience brought cyber risks to life through scenarios faced by civilians in conflict zones.
In armed conflicts, access to food is often disrupted, leaving millions facing hunger. Crops, livestock, and water sources are destroyed, and food aid struggles to reach those in need.
Access to food should not be a luxury.

@ICRC@ICRC_Africa Despite the huge needs, resources are stretched thin.
There are just 3 physical rehab centres across Somalia, run by 56 Somali Red Crescent staff and supported by the ICRC. They serve 200–250k people living with injuries, illnesses, or disabilities.
@ICRC@ICRC_Africa Decades of conflict have left hundreds of thousands of Somalis needing physical rehabilitation — many with scars from gunshots, landmines, or explosions.
Since 2019, we’ve supported Somali Red Crescent physical rehab centres: training staff and making services more sustainable.
@ICRC@ICRC_Africa I’m proud of the progress we’ve made - especially in tough times. But there’s still work ahead.
I unpack the bigger picture in a recent interview with the ICRC. If you’re interested in how this programme is evolving, read more here:
