Grok Bot can complete US online purchases as of Friday. You connect Stripe Link, it fills a normal checkout, and every charge still needs an explicit yes.

Stripe shipped that agent wallet in April. Friday was Grok Bot flipping it on for real US users, not Stripe inventing agent payments.

The bot never sees the stored card. After approval, Link issues a one-time virtual card that works in a regular form, or a Shared Payment Token if the merchant already takes machine-native payments. A stolen one-use number is useless on a second charge.

US desktop first. Mobile still rolling out.

The bot shops. You pay. That's a purchasing clerk with a scoped credential, not a card you drop into a chatbot.
