When we left off yesterday, grasstops groups in the 'We Are Home' coalition were taking a victory lap on parole, while grassroots groups that are actually accountable to undocupals were digging in on citizenship.

While there have been some improvements in recent months, we are still not back to our pre-pandemic level of economic migration, and we have to go far above it to get rid of the backlogs of visa issuances. The State Department is showing no willingness to do that.
The Biden administration must start looking at this labor shortage as a top priority policy issue, up there with vaccination policy. America is losing 10s of billions in dollars in economic growth *every month* when this many jobs stand unfilled. Immigrants can solve this!
