You would think that Cardi b and her creative team would not lean into certain things that Nicki Minaj already did but I truly think the talentless bitch Cardi is, runs towards anything Nicki did in an attempt to do it better in a newer time. That girl is obsessed and tries to play it off
🚨Update: Hadley v. Perez
Judge Beth Bloom has GRANTED Demoree’s motion to extend the expert disclosure deadline after finding good cause to modify the scheduling order.
The Court agreed that it would be unfair to require Demoree’s expert to issue opinions before reviewing documents that Defendant Desiree Perez was ordered to produce. As a result, Demoree’s expert disclosure deadline has been extended to July 26, with the remaining case deadlines pushed back accordingly.
The Court also recognized that the Magistrate Judge had already ordered Desiree Perez to complete production of responsive documents by June 26, 2026, and found that Demoree’s expert should have the opportunity to review those materials before issuing expert opinions.
Perez argued Demoree had not shown why the documents were necessary, had delayed discovery, and should not receive an extension. The Court rejected those arguments, finding that because the responsive document production would not be completed until after the original expert deadline, good cause existed to amend the schedule and allow Demoree’s expert the opportunity to review and assess the documents before preparing opinions.
Updated case schedule:
July 26, 2026: Expert disclosures
August 9, 2026: Rebuttal expert disclosures
August 18, 2026: Discovery closes
September 9, 2026: Dispositive motions and Daubert motions due
November 30, 2026: Joint pretrial filings due
December 8, 2026: Calendar call
December 14, 2026: Trial is scheduled to begin.
Jay-Z re-released a whole album and not a single song cracked the Top 10. Let that sit. Owning your masters is smart business, but owning something nobody's checking for is just an expensive shelf. Relevance is earned every cycle — you don't get to re-release your way back into the culture. The man lectures everybody about ownership while the streams say the people moved on. Legacy isn't how much you own. Legacy is whether they still show up when you drop. Catalog without demand is just nostalgia with a price tag. Am I lying?
