No comment from Kensington Palace tonight after at least 3 international pictures agencies refuse to distribute this morning’s photo of Kate and her children. Some of them (@AP ) have claimed “the source [the palace] has manipulated the image”.
Remember that creepypasta about why we find certain features scary? Definitely getting that ick from this picture, which makes sense, but that’s very interesting when pictures of lions at rest don’t trigger a fear response.
It’s like mammals are close enough to apes that we can see ourselves in them and not immediately fear them like we do reptiles or bugs. But when they go into kill mode, they’re still able to trigger those fear pathways.
Have there been any good creepy videos lately or are they now just a remnant of the 2000s internet? Maybe modern camera quality has made it too difficult to make them in a convincing but engaging way.
It's not a bug. You put a "block me" sign on your back and now the algorithm is working exactly as intended—suppressing accounts people don't like hearing from.
It's amazing seeing how many people are complaining that their reach is lower than ever even after paying to get a boost and seem to think it's some kind of technical bug. Blocking is one of the most powerful negative effects on reach in the algorithm.
