Fair play to France. They fronted up in #IREvFRA, we didn’t. Hard result to take for us. I’m not quite sure how the 2nd French try stood, but you can’t fall apart like we did for 20mins and hope to win anything, let alone a six nations crunch game.
#IREvFRA Gutted for Peter O’Mahony. Leaving the field in the Aviva for the final time and @RTEsport coverage chooses to focus solely on Angus Gardner. He deserved a better send off.
Leinster third try was a farce. Spoiled what might have been a decent arm wrestle for the rest of the game. Followed promptly by the push in the back into touch. Not a penalty because ‘he should have played the ball’?? 🤷♂️
Having a team crowned Premier League champions with so many charges hanging over them is ruining the competition. The charges need sorting one way or the other. Fast. #premierleague#115ers#mancity
Can anyone tell me why @LandoNorris was disqualified in #netflixcup ? It was a scramble and he moved his ball to the best of the two previous shots (after Fowler missed his putt). Sainz however stopped a moving ball before taking his putt!!! Those are some different golf rules!
4/4 That’s 3 great games but what has felt like a two week hiatus between the last really good rugby and the final. For me there’s only one winner in that comparison. Hopefully #worldrugby get it right next time.
1/4 Many have said the #RWC2023 draw didn’t really affect the tournament and just meant we ended up with two great QFs instead of two great SFs. Let’s compare them.
3/4 Instead, we had two great QFs, one terrible SF (most one sided on record), one debatable SF (depending on your level of rugby purism), one awful 3rd place playoff and one good final.
2/4 If the best four teams had gotten to the SFs, we would’ve gotten two great SFs, a great 3rd place play-off and a great final. That’s 4 epic games, with the host nation involved all the way to final weekend and a heck of an atmosphere in France the past two weeks.
When are we going to see consistency from referees on red cards? Two tackles from Kovacic. First one not much different to Curtis Jones last week (worse if you consider no attempt at the ball). #ARSMCI. Who benefits?? Hmmmm…..
@RuaidhriOC To all those giving Ruaidhri a tongue lashing, I fully agree that for one country to win, it doesn’t matter the order. However, for the quality of the semifinals and final it does. For neutrals it would better for the best four teams to have a chance of all getting to the semis.
