東大まんがくらぶの後輩だった桝屋友子東大教授が先月亡くなった。日本では珍しいイスラム美術史の研究者。病床でアニメ「天幕のジャードゥーガル」の歴史考証に参加できたことをとても喜んでいたそうですが、初回放映日7/4は彼女のお通夜になってしまいました。ご冥福をお祈り致します。

Tetsunabe no Jan! foi uma estreia que me surpreendeu, não estava entre os animes que eu pretendia ver, e acabei gostando bastante. E como esperado, a direção do Ei Aoki é excelente.
E o episódio de hoje foi fenomenal, se fosse pela regra dos 3 eps, esse anime passava fácil!

That's because it's half film & half digital, so it's always changing frame rates. The show FEELS different on a CRT. Also, they COMPLETELY changed the colors for the HD releases. People aren't gaslighting you. The VHS version legitimately looks like a completely different anime.

Using licensed foreign music as the OP/ED to an anime is obviously nothing new. Even the director of the Green Yuri anime himself directed the OP for Speed Grapher 2 decades ago, which used a song by Duran Duran.

E lá se foi o último episódio de Awajima Hyakkei. Esse é um anime que vou sentir falta. Não esperava gostar tanto assim, um drama introspectivo englobando várias gerações. Pra quem não se intimida e fica, a história fragmentada e confusa é recompensadora.
