the problem with modern fiction is that people need every main character now to be morally just and never regressing. people simply cannot watch characters do things on a screen anymore, they need to personally relate to them and root for them. it's so fucking frustrating.

@t_tPhantom Jax can be a very dislikable character to many but imo he’s actually probably the best written character in the story. He had a narrative role to fill and he did it very well with great, albeit controversial characterization. The story clearly wouldn’t have worked without him.

@Corcunda_Am @SaulGoodma87732 @kat1yyn_ True. I was talking more generally but the story does a great job at showing the story from, mainly, David’s POV. This isn’t a story of the general people of Night City as much as it is David’s story, which makes sense. The show knew what it wanted to focus on n executed it well.

@TheSashaExpress P4G is one of my favorite games ever made and it changed my life. I’ve played other Persona games, more niche JRPGs like the Lunar series, and I certainly have great appreciation for the genre. Even with all this said, I thoroughly loved E33. Yet, how are they all so… insecure?
